About Us
Ms. Paula Ann Kochanek
Paula Ann Kochanek is the founder of SpeakYourRhyme, where she explores the surprising power of rhyme to help people think, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
Her work centers around limericks as a memorable way to express deeper truths. Paula writes faith-rooted limericks, journals, and devotionals that help readers slow down, notice what they are thinking and feeling, and put words to their own story.
For Paula, rhyme is not just creative expression but a tool for reflection. A short poem can hold a thought long enough for someone to consider it, question it, or write about it themselves. Through journaling prompts, scripture-based reflections, and playful but thoughtful limericks, she invites people to engage their minds, hearts, and faith in simple daily moments.
Before creating SpeakYourRhyme, Paula spent 28 years working as a massage therapist (and still at it!), where she saw firsthand how much people carry in their physical bodies that are manifestations often of their emotional and spiritual well-being.
Her resources are designed for individuals, teachers, writers, journalers, book groups, churches, homeschoolers, and anyone who enjoys the rhythm of words and the clarity that comes from writing things down. She also offers products for home decor as well as Essential Oils. Paula encourages people to pause, reflect, and speak their rhyme: Right on time.
Our Purpose
Speak Your Rhyme exists to honor rhythm.
The rhythm of language.
The rhythm of timing.
The rhythm of personal calling.
Through poetry, reflection, and creative expression, the platform invites people to pause, listen, and speak what has been quietly forming within them. Some words will be lighthearted. Others reflective. Some may require time to sit with.
At its heart, Speak Your Rhyme is a reminder that it’s never too late to begin again, and that even the smallest lines, when written honestly, can carry life-changing truth.
"Limericks are small stories with lasting truth, written for the moment you’re ready to hear them."
“Time is never wasted when it’s redeemed, one honest line at a time.”
“Speak Your Rhyme is an invitation to begin again, with words that know their way home.”
