There once was a man named Abram,

He wasn’t related to Sam I am.

Genesis 12 is where he was told,

“Move out from your father’s household.”

So Abram obeyed God’s program.

There once was a number eleven,

Who sent a message from heaven.

Three days after eight,

Move open the gate.

Your time has come for replevin. (a procedure whereby seized goods may be provisionally restored to their owner pending the outcome of an action to determine the rights of the parties concerned.)

January 10

 

It happened about the 10^th day,

That decision of work or play.

I’ll do my best!

Then I can rest.

The reward is in doing it today.

she’d become an unsightly tight furl. (folded up)

The journey was long,

she had to be strong.

It was no use, her fate was to untwirl.

who believed New Year Resolutions could whirl.

I’ll do it!

But in the end she became a churl.  (impolite, mean spirited)

So I’ll do it was moving,

doing its best by proving.

Revolution, resolution.

Resolution, absolution.

I’ll do it, I’ll do it , no way I’m losing.
