There was a young mother feeling alone.

Deep inside only God could hear her groan.

Washing dishes,

Truth trumped wishes.

God would reveal you eat what is grown.

There once was a beautiful young virgin,

Chosen by God but not without sin.

Mother of Emmanuel,

He would save us from hell.

Her son the Savior for all the world’s sin.

There once was a great and mighty servant

On a holy war mission he was sent.

His home is far,

 Near the North Star.

There is a way that seems right to man.

A life spent creating a perfect plan.

But the end is death,

When every breath,

Is filled with evil against your fellowman.

There was a man named Judas Iscariot.

A disciple of Jesus, was he not?

Going amiss,

He used a kiss.

A kiss of death to his own evil plot.

There once was a lad name Judas.

He grew up in the family business.

Money called his name.

Jesus’ treasurer he became.

Money would speak, “Just trust us.”

To onlookers an act so frivolous,

Her heart never more serious.

The box no more closed.
