 There once was a government of lies.

The remnant was praying with loud cries.

Righteous ruler.

Ancient schooler.

YOUR laws save us from ungodly guise.

Picture ourselves in a classroom learning about the laws of government.  Not the laws of today but the ones written by the Ancient of Days.  The King of The Universe. These laws are holy and righteous. These laws are not for the educated fool.  They are to educate the fool.  Our Founding Fathers were not fools. The United States crafted its Constitution and Declaration of Independence on God’s laws.  Visiting the walls of Washington D.C. is proof.  And also proof of how far we have fallen into foolishness by the grievous laws written assaulting life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. 

I love Psalm 2 from The Message Bible.   Let’s read it.

Why the big noise, nations?

Why the mean plots, peoples?

Earth-leaders push for position,

Demagogues and delegates meet for summit talks,

The God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers:

“Let’s get free of God!

Cast loose from Messiah!”

Heaven-throned God breaks out laughing.

At first he’s amused at their presumption;

Then he gets good and angry.

Furiously, he shuts them up:

“Don’t you know there’s a King in Zion? A coronation banquet

Is spread for him on the holy summit.”

Now, picture ourselves sitting in one of these “Earth Summits”.  Without God, we would fall under the guise of the lies of climate change, health pandemics, gender annihilation, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), abortion as health care, and literally anything contrary to God’s truth. Never forget the power of programming a young mind. The subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between a lie and the truth. We must have God’s truth planted deeply into our subconscious so leftist ideologies cannot sway us.  This is one of the main reasons the left continues to manipulate the children as early as possible.

Do you know Heaven has a government?  It is God’s government.

This government is complete with all His Laws, Commandments, and Judgements. The earth is a shadow of His government. We are to govern ourselves corporately and individually by Heaven’s government allowing us to live in peace and prosperity without fear.  Satan came to Eve in disguise, twisting the truth of God’s commandment to not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. As I have often referred to this fateful event in my writings I do again for the power of truth in disobedience and its consequences are a law God never changes.  The moment Adam did not cover and defend his wife but joined her gave Satan the legal right to take what he wanted from them.  They lost the Garden and perfect fellowship with God.  From that point on man understood good and evil.  Satan continues to use his legal right to lie to every person born. His plan is to lead as many as possible away from God.  The sad truth is this goes for believers as well. 

We must be schooled in God’s laws.  Jesus came to fulfill the law not do away with it.  The Ten Commandments are still God’s laws and when applied produce holy results. How could an ungodly government use its guise to remove them?  And yet it happened many times and in many places.  Believers, we are responsible.  We didn’t pay attention as our schools educated our children with Godless beliefs. We let the media school us as well with countless lies.  We are being beguiled like Eve.  We fail often like Adam when we don’t stand up for truth. 

Jesus has paid the price to defeat satan and overrule the legal entrance to our lives.  But until we stand on that truth he still uses guise, that twisting of truth, to fear us into subjection. We must keep studying to defeat satan at his own game. Remember he knows the whole bible.  Do we?

The hour is late. We cannot stop meeting at the schoolhouse of truth.

Dear GOD,

Thank You for YOUR Government. Nothing can stand against it.  Until You return keep schooling us in Your Laws.  We repent of tuning out the TEACHER, Holy Spirit.  We repent for not doing our homework.  Please be merciful and bring us back to the Law of Love.  Cause our hearts to have no other gods before You. Give us strength to love You with all our hearts, souls, and minds. Help us teach our children to do the same.   In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

There is the Author of Creation.

Molding and shaping animation.

Man’s story,

HIS Glory.

Love eternal, without cessation.

 

 Imagination.

If you were to write a story of creation how would you imagine it?

The Bible tells us G_D created us in His image.¹  We have a habit of writing G_D into our stories but the truth is G_D wrote our story. 

Have you ever read a book said, “What a crappy ending.”  You just want to change it.  The story G_D wrote for mankind has a glorious ending.  The end is the beginning of greater glory. This isn’t one of those times you are irritated if someone tells you the end of the story if you haven’t read the book. This book, the Bible, ends in glory.  The more you read it the more you open your mind to things you could never imagine were possible. It’s HIS Story living in you, becoming your story. A story for His Glory.  The Glory Story where everyone has their part to play.

How do I play my part?

The Book of Revelation² is the last book in the Bible but you don’t need to read the whole Bible first. Jesus course corrected all the plots and schemes of Satan as He played out His part. We find all this out as we read the rest of the Bible. Jesus’ story did not end on the Cross. It opened the door to the greater glory allowing him to sit at His FATHER’S right side in Heaven.  Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, makes it clear in Revelation: to end well we must have our names written in the book of life.

How do I know my name is written in the book of life?

G_D has molded and shaped every one of us. HIS breath animates us. Our story, although already written, is always about choices. Jesus had to choose to obey all G_D told him.  It is no different for us.  The story of Jesus is written throughout the Old Testament even before Jesus comes to physical life in the New Testament. The Cross is not the end but only the beginning of The Glory Story. As soon as we accept His death as the sacrifice for our sin, repenting of it, he begins to speak to us. His Holy Spirit opens our imaginations to see and feel how we are doomed without Him. The weight of our sin sometimes is tangible and as soon as we cry out, Father forgive me, Jesus comes.  A true repentant heart confessing that Jesus is raised from the dead is saved.  This kind of salvation makes your name known in all of heaven so that your name is written in the book of life.

Your story, His Glory.

His love will never cease.³  He is the author and finisher of our faith. Faith is the glue that binds the book of our story. You and I are created to be His story. The story of His Glory.

 

Pray this prayer with me.

Dear G_D,

Thank You for my story. May my mouth confess that Jesus Christ is Lord being raised from the dead.  I repent of all my sin. Cleanse me and fill me with Your Holy Spirit.  Write my name in the Book of Life. Together help me live out the story You have written for my life.   In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

February Leap ©

A Limerick A Day to Keep You On Your Way©

There once was the Creator of numbers.

Created by One who never slumbers.

Even or odd,

There’s no façade,

From The One who always disencumbers.

 

The whole world knows the definition of two, regardless of culture and language.

Don’t you just laugh sometimes how man pretends he has control over the creation and order of numbers?  Remember that preposterous and lunatic ideology of one plus one could equal three?

The one who falls into this thinking has been blinded by the prince of this world.  The bible calls him satan, the father of lies.¹  Satan tries everything and anything to destroy what G_D has created. He does it through perversion, taking all God has created and twisting it so it sounds good to the itching ears of men². He knows his time is up soon before he is cast into the burning lake of fire.  He wants to take as many souls with him as possible. Don’t let him take you. Don’t fall for any of his lies.  Even if they sound good.  He is the master at making things sound good, believable and for humanity’s benefit.  How do you think we got to the place that we don’t believe God knows the very number of hairs on our head?³  Satan has convinced many that the clump of cells, which has a number, in the womb is not worth counting.  Who are we to decide what number of cells is worth terminating?

G_D is so precise that He numbered all of our days.

All of our days are numbered.  You may have been born on an even day or an odd day.  You will die on an even day or an odd day.  You are numbered in G_D’s creation of life.  And those of you that were born, or yet to be born in the year of the February leap year, are you any less important because it was the “odd” day counted in the “even” year?  Of course not!

G_D has no façade about Him.

HE is TRUTH.  TRUTH, that arrived on earth in the bodily form of Jesus.  It was a calculated birth with a numbered set of days in the womb.  Did man come up with the gestation amount of days?  No!  Nor the precise times the cells would divide, and divide again, and then divide into what would become the heart, stomach, brain, kidneys until the whole baby is formed.  G_D forgive us for destroying what You have made.

Nothing is to difficult for G_D, this One who disencumbers. 

The meaning of disencumber is, “release from entanglement of difficulty.”  Are you in difficulty?  Our nation surely is.  Collectively the world population is about 8 billion.  Do you believe G_D knows every person?  I do. I believe He knows you.  He knows everything about you.  The day He decided to create you He numbered the times your heart will beat, the number of times your lungs will breathe, and the number of times you will need Him.  (Which is all the time!) If you need Him, just ask.  Ask Him to reveal Himself to you.  G_D loves to be invited into our difficulties.

Numbers are important in every detail of life.

Why February, the leap month?    The historical reason behind choosing February is fascinating.  The Romans believed even numbers were unlucky.  To keep the calendar aligned with the lunar cycle two months needed to be added and still keep the year with an odd number of days. January and February were added by the Roman king Numa Pompilius.  To keep the total of the year an odd number Pompilius reconfigured the days and chose February to have 28 days because it was used to honor the dead.  He felt this would be the most unlucky month. Later we learned the earth takes approximately 365.25 days to orbit the sun once. The detailed accuracy, causing the .25, creates the need for a leap year every four years. February being the shortest month became the unlucky or lucky choice, if you are superstitious. 

Take a leap and be numbered among the saints.

 Dear G_D,

Thank You for Your perfect order all things.  I want to be numbered among the saints. I know my number is a holy number with a holy calling. My destiny has been written on the pages of Your book. Today I invite You in to every hour of  every day so that the sum total will always equal You.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Past, Present, and Future:  Humanity’s Paradigm.

 

Did you know God made time for man?

The Creator of the Universe has such a marvelous plan for us, His most precious creation. In the first book of the Bible, Genesis, we read how GOD made the two great lights to divide day and night.[1]  They are our signs for seasons, days and years.

Adam and Eve were living in the time GOD created.  It was an heavenly time of living in the Presence, the Presence of God himself.  Their fellowship with the Creator lacked nothing. Nothing,  until that fateful bite!  The bite they were sure  would bring more wisdom and knowledge then their loving Father had. They thought HE was holding out on them.  Instead they were cast out of the Garden of  Eden, the place of full provision.  Seems cruel. But GOD instructed them when He said, “Do not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”  GOD always knows what is best and speaks truth.  It was Satan, that snake, who stole their time. He did it with a lie because he is the father of lies.[2]  He only comes to steal, rob and destroy.[3]

What was GOD to do?

GOD had to be sure they would  not live forever because  now they knew good and evil. They saw the goodness of The Tree of Life.  Eating that fruit meant living eternally.  GOD’s  beloved creation of man used his free will to disobey Him.  Adam and Eve would live on the earth forever. They  could never imagine the evil that would  multiply for all eternity.

So what was GOD to do? HE could have ended it all right then,  especially Time.   But that wasn’t His plan at all. There is purpose in all things.[4]  GOD, in his loving kindness banished Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden so they could never eat of The Tree of Life.  We, living in this present world,  are painfully aware of how evil grows with every generation. Imagine if there was no end to it.

Why do you suppose we celebrate The New Year? Or birthdays, wedding anniversaries, holidays and all kinds of celebrations?  We have our seasons, days, weeks months, years. God set time in motion for us.  It helps us put things in order.  It helps us record history so we do not forget what man is capable of. The motion of time will continue until the earth is no more.[5]

Evil has to be brought to its own end.   God has orchestrated all the days until it is complete, perfectly complete, perfectly conquered.  Evil will end.   Only God knows what hour that is.  HE needs us to fight against in the meantime.

Has GOD forgotten us?

In our meantime we may feel God has forgotten us.[6]   HE hasn’t.  HE has instructed us to trust Him at all times.  Hear what Psalm 62:8 says, “ Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.”  Now more than ever HE is our only hope.

What is Humanity’s Paradigm?

IF time consists of past, present, and future and that is the sum of all time as we know it on earth, then let us trust Him always.[7]  IT is not a blind trust as one may think.  No! it is being fully present. Fully alive.  It’s not woke.  It is awake.[8]  Awake to live in the present, knowing the Time. Do you know  what  time it is?

Dear GOD,

Thank You for Your perfect plan.  All of time is held in Your Hand. Today I ask You to save my soul from evil’s eternity by the sacrifice of Jesus who paid all my debt.  I wake from my sleep that has blinded me to any sin and repent of it all.  Jesus today and everyday forward help me live in the freedom of salvation making my future, Eternity in heaven, a sure thing.  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Believing Without Seeing©

A Limerick A Day to Keep You On Your Way©

 A man from the country of Fright,

Wasn’t sure if he could see right.

Believe without seeing?

See without believing?

So we introduced him to Christ.

 

How grateful I am for the first day I was introduced to Christ.

It was just a few weeks before Thanksgiving 1980. I felt an overwhelming need to return to church after a long absence.  Fourteen years actually, and in honesty, all the years I did go were out of parental obedience and nothing more.  Walking into church I was full of fright God would surely strike me dead for how long I had been away. November 9^th 1980 my “blind” eyes were introduced to the most loving Presence of God I had ever felt. I felt a realm my natural eyes could not see. That year the holiday season was more real than I had ever known. Thanksgiving,  I truly was thankful. Thankful for my children, my job, my parents and my siblings.  Christmas came with more seeing. It was painful and joyful. Jesus was so real. Not just a baby in a manger, no, the baby born for the redemption of man. The joy of this truth also gave way to the reality of sin.  I could never undo my eyesight now.  I could never not believe. I could never not know how badly I needed a savior.

Many years have passed and just like natural eyesight can diminish so can supernatural eyesight.  I wear glasses for a large part of my day now.  I “lose” them often as well.  But each time I put them on I am reintroduced to the words I can’t see without them.  It is the same with Jesus.  We must put him on every day and be reintroduced to Christ.  We put him on when we read the WORD.  The Word helps us see so we can believe without seeing Him until we will fully see Him in eternity.

For now, let us believe on these scriptures.

Romans 13:14 KJV

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Ephesians 4:24 KJV

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for helping me see You as the Christmas baby born for the redemption of man. Just as You grew in the knowledge of Your heavenly Father may I grow also, daily putting on the new man.  Introduce me to Your Word over and over again that I believe though I see You not. You are the Christ of Christmas. In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

There once came to be a fall of momentum.

Evil scurrying to get its agendum.

Woven in place,

No empty space.

Mutilating the innocent pudendum.

 

Genesis 1:27  KJV

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

 

Man can not and never will change the creation of male and female.  He can only mutilate the image. This is how evil is woven into an agenda.

 

The christian left would have you believe life starts with baby’s first breath.  They base this on God breathing into Adam and then he became a living being.  Do they not know baby is breathing breath through the life of the mother?  Is that not a beautiful picture of Adam being with God until God breathes the breath that allows Adam to live on his own?  Take the mother’s breath away while baby is in untero and baby dies too.  If they can convince you life doesn’t start until baby has its first breath after birth you will desensitize and vote laws that abort the child up until birth and beyond.  This is how evil is woven into an agenda.  

 

We are all babies once.  We were given a name and identiy. Give baby a name, an identity.  Baby becomes a real person.  Change baby’s sex, name, pronoun, identity.  The result is confusion, perversion, manipulation, sucide. This is how evil is woven into an agenda.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Satan is a thief and a liar. He will kill anything and anyone that gets in his way.  And he is using those that have been blinded by his evil and are doing ever thing they can to silence the voice of good.

I hope you have already acted.  Tomorrow is your last chance to make your voice be heard through your vote.  Vote for good, not evil. Let’s put “an end to um.”

Dear Jesus,

As we come to the close of our pivotal election cycle we again ask forgiveness for our silence against evil.  We do not deserve Your mercy but still you give it when we genuinely repent.  We are commanding by the authority given by the Name of Jesus to push back evil.  We demand every vote to be a legal vote and all others to be cast out.  We ask for righteous men and women to be placed in seats that will honor our country from God’s laws of life and liberty. By Your Name we command the eyes and ears of our heart to be led only by Holy Spirit.  Holy Spirit You are the giver of Truth and You know the desperate cry of the hour.  The agenda of the evil one has encompassed all of humanity.  Help our voices be heard by the seed of our vote. We believe You love America. Let us never give up or give in.  We decree America shall be saved. In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

October Victory©

A Limerick A Day to Keep You On Your Way©

 There once was a place called the United States.

Its history filled with historical dates.

Freedom will reign,

Evil not gain.

Victory is written within our gates.

 

God has indeed given man free will. 1Ever since the fall in the Garden of Eden mankind has known how to do all sorts of evil deeds.  Every generation sees evil grow darker and more powerful.  But this has to be. 2Evil will finally have an end when our enemy, Satan, is thrown into the burning abyss.

In the meantime, God has not left us powerless against this raging enemy.  It is our right, a legal right, by the death of Jesus on the cross.  3His death brought victory over principalities and all things that try to exalt themselves over the knowledge of God.  If we remain ignorant of this truth then evil continually robs us of what Christ has done for us to remain free.  Free from evil men and women who pervert truth and justice for selfish gain.

The hour is late and it is time again to remind all those who name the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior.  America is to be the shining light on the hill.  Forever. It is our heritage and must never be forgotten.   We are to be proud of our history, not prideful.  We are to remember our goal is to share the gospel with all and to ever fight for freedom against all forms of tyranny.

Make no mistake the privilege fought for to have free and fair elections for every American citizen. It is painful to know the lie the church believed Christians were not to involve themselves in government. We are reaping the consequences of our complacency. God in His mercy has corrected this costly error and it is time to regain the ground that was lost.  It is after all HIS Government that he entrusted to mankind on earth. Let us rule with His justice and laws.  

Your vote is crucial.  Good must overcome evil.  Vote for righteousness while you still can before it may cost you your life.

Dear Jesus,

Grant us the victory and courage Lord to do what has to be done for the freedom of America.  Forgive us for our selfish complaceny and forgetting the blood that was spilt for our blessed lifes. We have not had to fight with our blood as those did before us.   We do not wish it to come that again but should it be Lord we look to You for all provision, strength and victory.  We believe You love America and desire her to be the shining light again. Let us never give up or give in.  We decree America shall be saved. In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

Seasons are about to change.

Man has tried to rearrange,

Never think God doesn’t know exactly what man is up to.

Anyone who plans and plots evil will surely come to ruin.

 Denying God’s existence doesn’t change His existence.

It only makes them a fool.

    and exploit the unfortunate,

Push the helpless into the ditch,

    bully the weak so that they fear for their lives.

The poor, like stray dogs and cats,

    scavenge for food in back alleys.

They sort through the garbage of the rich,

    eke out survival on handouts.

Homeless, they shiver through cold nights on the street;

    they’ve no place to lay their heads.

Exposed to the weather, wet and frozen,

    they huddle in makeshift shelters.

Nursing mothers have their babies snatched from them;

    the infants of the poor are kidnapped and sold.

They go about patched and threadbare;

    even the hard workers go hungry.

No matter how backbreaking their labor,

    they can never make ends meet.

People are dying right and left, groaning in torment.

    The wretched cry out for help

    and God does nothing, acts like nothing’s wrong!

 

13-17 “Then there are those who avoid light at all costs,

    who scorn the light-filled path.

When the sun goes down, the murderer gets up—

    kills the poor and robs the defenseless.

Sexual predators can’t wait for nightfall,

    thinking, ‘No one can see us now.’

Burglars do their work at night,

    but keep well out of sight through the day.

    They want nothing to do with light.

Deep darkness is morning for that bunch;

    they make the terrors of darkness their companions in crime.

 

18-25 “They are scraps of wood floating on the water—

    useless, cursed junk, good for nothing.

As surely as snow melts under the hot, summer sun,

    sinners disappear in the grave.

The womb has forgotten them, worms have relished them—

    nothing that is evil lasts.

Unscrupulous,

    they prey on those less fortunate.

However much they strut and flex their muscles,

    there’s nothing to them. They’re hollow.

They may have an illusion of security,

    but God has his eye on them.

They may get their brief successes,

    but then it’s over, nothing to show for it.

Like yesterday’s newspaper,

    they’re used to wrap up the garbage.

You’re free to try to prove me a liar,

    but you won’t be able to do it.”

 Pray this prayer with me.

Dear Jesus,

I choose this day to follow You no matter the cost.  Let my life be a prey for You. Surely when You capture me You lavish Your loving kindness on me.  Let me never be a fool for darkness.  Today I say out loud, “God is my true and only God.  I command my will to follow only the Word of God. Give me courage to speak truth and the mercy and grace to help others desire Your truth.  In Jesus Name. Amen.”

Moments Are A Setup©

A Limerick A Day to Keep You On Your Way©

There rings every moment a saving thought.

The battle against evil has to be fought.

Wake up, wake up!

Perfect setup!

Remain asleep, the enemy has you caught.

 

 It’s not really a good setup.  But it’s all I got at the moment.

Have you ever listened, really listened to your thought life?  Did you ever consider your thoughts have a life?  A life they can lead on their own, directing just about all of our behavior.  And we are caught in the results.

Our current moment has enlightened (dare I say woke) most of us in understanding what we see and hear affects our thoughts. This understanding came to light about two generations ago for most of the world that had been asleep, going through the motions of everyday living.  We didn’t think too much about what we did, why we did it or the eventual outcomes.  The bible has always been clear on thoughts from the beginning.  Just look at Genesis 6:5(KJV)

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

Not easy to believe when we know man is capable of good. But is it God’s good?

The Church also has been asleep. IT is precisely why our current moment has given way to evil continuing. Are you familiar with The Black Robe Regiment?  I heard of them about two years ago.  A quick overview of who they were will change your view of what the Church should be doing.  They were fierce in protecting the Constitution, courageous to leave their church buildings and join the revolution, and bold in sermons against sin while defending America. They had this courage from the ministers who before them shaped our civil government. Those ministers knew a government without the governance of God ultimately falls to the evil thoughts of men’s hearts.

God is so gracious to us because we are His workmanship. HE wants us to succeed in life.  To do so means a battle against evil.  That battle on Earth began the day Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. We lost our legal right to dominion over the Earth. Jesus claimed it all back but we are not exempt from continuing the battle. We must occupy until He returns.

As I began this month’s blog with my opening statement, “It’s not really a good setup.  But it’s all I got at the moment.”, came from the thought I was having as I placed my laptop on a high stool, sat in a patio chair, placed my keyboard on a 12 x 12 inch sound deadening square on my lap, and the mouse on the TV table to my right. Far from the ideal setup to write I said out loud those words.  At this point I had not thought about all the moments leading up to the decision to write.  I just knew  it was time to do my monthly blog.

The morning began with moments.

The moment I decided to spend some time with God, He was eager to show me what He was up to.  God is always setting us up. Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) says this: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

We are generally oblivious to His thoughts and it takes much prodding from Holy Spirit to get our attention.  Yet, God is always listening to our thoughts.  Why?  Because first of all He created us and without Him, you and I would not exist.  Second, our thoughts are as loud words in heaven. That can be an overwhelming thought since thoughts are not always pleasant.  Thank You Jesus for GRACE! 

So my morning began with a decision.  The decision is always important. The decision has to be enforced or we just become wishy-washy and if you ever encountered someone who can’t make a decision it can be annoying.  I have been that person and annoyed myself. As I was saying, I made a decision to listen to a Facebook Challenge called Encountering Jesus. We were challenged to put things aside and just spend some time in His Presence.  Of course when you decide to do just that there are always interruptions.  It took me 3 dedicated and focused attempts to stay there. Those moments produced thoughts that shaped my behavior and caused me to write this blog.  My thought life was now in tune with God’s thoughts. As I was preparing my space to write I said out loud,  “It’s not really a good setup.  But it’s all I got at the moment.”, I heard God say in my mind, “Open your blog with those words.” It wasn’t just a fleeting thought, it was a beautiful setup from God. As I let His direction develop with those words it was clear what the message needed to be.

The Church has got to wake up to His Divine setup. 

I am grateful for churches not afraid to preach on the moment we are living in.  I keep hearing it said if your church is not preaching on the things of the moment like abortion, same-sex marriage, transgenderism, getting involved in your local government, and other current issues, then leave and go where they are. Holy Spirit is giving us another chance to get it right.  It’s all we got at the moment.  What a great moment! 

Every generation has its moment in time. 

One moment can change everything.  IF a thousand days to us is like one to God, what is one moment to God.  In a thousand years will we have left the generations after us with Truth?  Righteousness?  Purity?  Holiness?  The Eternal Word of God?  Or the continued overtaking of evil in all forms.  Let us battle on for  Ephesians 5:15-17 (KJV) says,

“15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”

It’s the perfect setup for God’s moment. 

 

Pray this prayer with me.

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for this moment.  Setup me, my family, my community, and my nation to hear Your thoughts.  We stand on Your Word in Jeremiah 29:11-14. “ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.”  Let us not be slow in hearing and understanding the words of those verses.  We are called to pray and search for God with our whole heart. Let our moments be Your moments and our thoughts Your thoughts.  Give us courage and strength to stay in the battle against every kind of evil.  Help us Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.

A Limerick A Day to Keep You On Your Way©

 There once was devised a most sacred pact.

Fought with great promise by men to coact.

Freedom from tyranny,

Truth, not conspiracy.

Its power proven, by historical fact.

 The notion of a privileged society is nothing new.  Let us not forget our founding fathers understood tyranny much deeper than the last several generations. They grew up under a King. Taking the last 3 generations of America we would still be incredibly freer than they were.  Do not misunderstand. America has gone through many trials and blemishes of a free nation. For anyone demanding perfection is to be delusional. 

Those that desire to destroy what has been accomplished to live in a free society are deceived by misguided hearts of bitterness.  Injustices of all kinds will be with us until we die.  America has fought valiantly in its short time as a country.  We forget our experiment of a republic is very young compared to the rest of the world.  This is why we cannot forget our history.  It is imperative to teach our children and ourselves. who we are, why we are and that tyranny must be fought at all costs.

July is the reminder of our great independence from tyranny. We cannot go back to a world system that gives the government the power to rule.  We the people cannot give up our power.

 

 We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

1 Timothy 2  KJV

2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

² For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

³ For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

⁴ Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

 

Pray this prayer with me.

Dear Jesus,

We are forever mindful that true freedom is found in Jesus alone.  Yet You have given mankind free will and those that desire to rule over men must be humble in all their dealings.  We are thankful to live in this place called America.  Please intervene in all our affairs.  As the founding fathers understood there needed ot be Divine Providence in establishing all things of government,  may it be so again.  Grant us men and women in government that are filled with hearts of righteousness, honor and integrity.  And then we the people, let us be the same.  Let us live out a peaceable life. In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
